Our prayers and responses at Holy Mass are about to change.
Are you prepared?

Please join us on Saturday September 17, 2011 as author, columnist and speaker Louie Verrecchio takes us on a journey into the sacred liturgy and the forthcoming changes in the new English translation of the Roman Missal. (See schedule below.) In addition to reviewing all of the updated prayers and responses in the people’s parts of Holy Mass, we will also address such important questions as:
  • What is the true nature of the sacred liturgy?
  • How is the new translation related to the teachings of Vatican II?
  • How does the new text foster a more authentic form of active participation?
  • How will the new translation help restore a sense of the sacred at Holy Mass?
  • And much more...
About the Speaker: Louie Verrecchio is a columnist for Catholic News Agency and the author of the internationally acclaimed Harvesting the Fruit of Vatican II Faith Formation Series. He has appeared in numerous publications including The Catholic Weekly of Sydney, Catholic Exchange, LifeSite News and many others.

Appearances: A frequent guest on the Ave Maria Radio and Relevant Radio networks, Mr. Verrecchio's speaking engagements have ranged from parish-based gatherings to large diocesan conferences. In August 2010, he also appeared with Ralph Martin on the popular EWTN program The Choices we Face.

Endorsements: Mr. Verrecchio's work has been endorsed by George Cardinal Pell - Archbishop of Sydney, Australia; Bishop Patrick O'Donoghue - Bishop Emeritus of Lancaster, England; Fr. Peter F. Ryan, S.J. - Professor of Moral Theology at Mt. St. Mary's Seminary in Emittsburg, MD and many others.

"Louie Verrecchio is truly a voice crying out in the desert. His work provides a sustaining spiritual oasis necessary for the continuing flourishing life of the Catholic Church." - Most Reverend R. Walker Nickless - Bishop of Sioux City
